How to setup a Supplemental LTD deduction to calculate gross salary up to a maximum amount?

Hi ~

Two PDBA codes are setup to assist with calculating supplemental LTD.  This is a once a month deduction.  We were recently notified that the Supplemental LTD plan maximum insured pre-disability earnings is $8,333 per month.  How can the maximum be configured?

This is a description of how the calculation is suppose to occur:

EmpName gross salary is $166,504.

Maximum gross salary cap is 99,996

Step 1)  $99,996 / 12 = 8,333

Step 2)  8,333-667 = 7,666 (the 667 deduction is calculated in different DBA and is used in yet another DBA 3213 as a negative amount as a work around to account for the needed calculation)

Step 3)   7,666 * .00560 =

RESULT of employee portion 3212 – Disability = 42.93

Best Regards,
