Create Pre-Tax Deduction Element with Benefits Table or Payroll Table
We need to create new Pre-Tax Deduction elements for basic benefits. Section 8-103 of "Compensation and Benefits Management Guide (US) Release 12.2" states that Benefits Tables can only be used now with extensive additional configuration and that Pre-Tax deductions no longer can use Payroll Tables. The only options left are flat amounts or percentages, and those don't work for this purpose.
What is the new preferred method of creating simple pre-tax deduction elements that have different tiers that would most naturally use either a Benefits Table or Payroll Table? Surely it hasn't just been made intentionally more difficult to do this.
