volume level adjustment

Hi,

1. I am testing volume level adjustment and based on that have created multiple slab based on quantity and accordingly define the discount. After entering sales order when going into price history why it is showing multiple slab discount in one order.

2. What is sliding rate and non sliding rate option means.

Can anyone help me with above two.
