Unable to cancel PO Line/PO

Hello,

My buyers are receiving the following error below. I researched this and was wondering if there was a way to resolve this for now without the patch?

Error Messages: ORA-12899: value too large for column "PO"."PO_LINES_GT3"."CANCEL_REASON" (actual: 251, maximum: 240) in Package PO_DOCUMENT_CHECKS_PVT Procedure POPULATE_PO_LINES_GT.
