Equipment Lease Amendments in Closed GL Period

Hi Vaishali,

Is it possible that a lease added in one gl period (say JUL-19), month end process run, gl period JUL-19 to JAN-20 closed , current gl period opened is FEB-20. Now, if I want to amend lease as below:

LCD: 01-JUL-19,  LTD: 31-DEC-20

ACD: 01-OCT-19, AED: 01-OCT-19, ATD: 14-JAN-19

Getting below error:

Could you please help, is this not a achievable scenario? if not possible than whats is the work around as many businesses have this scenario where they would like to amend in the closed GL periods.
