approval process definition by BU

State of Indiana is reviewing its T&E approval process.  Currently we have a separate Process Definition for each BU in TE approvals.  The original design for T&E includes a separate Process Definition for each BU.  However for voucher approvals, we have have one definition that can be applied to multiple BU’s.

Looking at the pages Enterprise Components>Approvals>Approvals>Approval Process Setup, I am comparing the two types of approval.  So if two BU’s have the same approval rules for vouchers, the “Standard” Voucher Approval process can be applied to both.

However, if two BU’s for TE have the same process, it appears we are creating a separate Process Definition for each BU.
