Customizing a report from a seeded extract / data model

Hi. Our benefits confirmation statements for self service was developed using the seeded extract / data model. How do we go about customizing slightly? In our specific case, we have employees who have enrolled in benefits and made election changes multiple times over the course of the year, since Open Enrollment. Our benefits team administrators want to be able to limit the confirmation statement to only display the most recent benefits elections, as earlier elections are very confusing to employees.

Has anyone encountered this and identified a quick solution? We spent alot of time formatting the output using this extract, so would rather try to keep this design and limit to the results brought back to 1 set of enrollments, the most recent.
