Net transactions performed during a cycle count

in Inventory Management - EBS (MOSC) Question

Is there a profile or a system setting that allows transactions to occur during a cycle count and net the transaction amount? Cycle count snapshot could be 700. The actual cycle count came up with 691. Prior to the count be added and approves a transaction occurs for 100 and now a larger variance is set off.

Any help as always appreciated.
