Lead time in Quotation and Processing Lead time in ASL

Hello,

Lead time on Quotation:In a quotation there is field called lead time in the tab = Price Breaks.What is this used for?

Processing lead time in ASL:In the approved supplier list ,tab = planning constraints , there is a field called Processing lead time.What is this used for?Is this used by planning(MRP/ASCP) to decide if an item is sourced from two suppliers (as per the sourcing rule) then it selects the one with a lesser processing lead time?
