Unifier Instance Merging

What you guys think of a good approach to merge multiple Unifier instance into one. For example, I have two instance, both have 40 BP, (Same BP) connected to different DBs. Now we basically want to have a single instance and dump the old data from Instance A to Instance B. Please share your thoughts if you have already been through this activity, as we have around 1 shell and 10k records across 40 BPs. Now we don't need to change any BP set up as they are identical. We are evaluating below approach,

DB Insert, manipulate record and insert from DB end.
