E-bus 12.2.9 Upgrade - Alta UI

Our enterprise is upgrading from Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.3 to 12.2.9. From my reading I understand there have been some significant UI enhancements, particularly in 12.2.5 in the move to Alta UI.

I am looking for more information summarizing the scope of the changes. The release notes that I have read have been fairly cursory. I am also interested in better understanding any issues or considerations to be watching for with these UI enhancements (e.g. breaks to customizations). Any documentation that I can be referred to or hearing the experiences of other organizations in moving to the new UI would be very helpful. Thanks.
