Performance improvement tips to handle batch jobs in replication environment

Hi

We have sybase replication setup, target being Oracle (DB is 11.2.0.4, 3 node RAC (Linux)). Batch jobs are causing delays at Oracle side. Is there any improvement tips that I need to follow to handle this situation effectively?
