How we can check Closing Balance between particular Period in Oracle

Hi All , Hope everyone is safe and healthy .I am looking for very simple Confirmation/information .

We have developed one custom Report for Customers to show Opening and Closing Balance. Suppose I run my custom Report for period 1-Jan-2020 to 31-Jan-2020 .

So how Business is checking is like :

1. opening balance of my custom Report(1 Jan 2020 ) should be equal to Total amount of Aging Report ( Oracle Standard Report ) for 31 Dec 2019 - This is matching 100 Perc , and no issues here .

2. Closing balance of my Custom Report for (31 Jan 2020 ) should be equal to Total amount of Aging Report ( Oracle Standard Report ) for 31 Jan 2020 -
