Oracle database 12.1.0.2 migration from OEL7 to RHEL7

Hello Experts,

Our production database running on OEL7 and we are going to create similar STAGE/UAT environment but management wants to build lower environment on RHEL7 instead of OEL7.

I approach them that OEL is compiled from Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) source code and designed to get best DB performance. 

can you assist me on below questions.

What are the impacts of having one environment in RHEL and another in OEL and why not to choose RHEL over OEL.

Will backup restoration from OEL to RHEL will need any conversion?

Database version 12.1.0.2.

Grid version 12.1.0.2
