Document 452868 valid for 18c?

I need to duplicate a database from one server to another (non-CDB)

I found document RMAN 'Duplicate From Active Database' (Doc ID 452868.1)

The "Applies To" section reads: Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 11.1.0.6 and later

however, "Purpose" section reads: This note is only applicable for oracle 11g only.

1-is document applicable to later version 18c, or not?

2-If this document is only for 11g, can someone provide Doc ID for steps to perform Database Duplication which is correct for 18c?
