Large Number of Physical Disks on Oracle VM

Hi all,

I found another issue on my (not really mine, but from the company where I work), issue on the OVM infra-structure.

After trying (again) to add a new physical dis (LUN from SAN), to a specific VM (running OL6 x64), I got an xen_blkfront error and this drove me to a new search on Oracle support.

This time and once this wasn't the first time with the same issue, I found this document Doc ID 2094105.1, but the same document seems to be a bit confused...

For solution/workaround 1:

Depending on the grub version on the virtual machine(s) the file to change is either /etc/grub/grub.conf or /etc/grub2/grub.conf
