How is the receipt batch date is derived when receipts are created via lockbox

Hello

I am trying to understand the functionality behind the receipt batch date for the receipts created with the lockbox process. We configured lockboxes so that the GL date is the same as the deposit date since we do pass the deposit date in the file, however, it is not clear if the batch date will also be the same as the deposit date, or will it default to the systems date?

And clarification on this matter will be greatly appreciated.
