Smart View momentarily freezes excel

All,

We've noticed that in certain cases when Smart View is used on Office 365, the excel sheet freezes and becomes unresponsive. After a few seconds it responds and performs all the actions that were done during the freeze.  When not connected to Smart View then Excel works fine. People have noticed a slowness in other office applications as well when Smart View is logged in.

Any one seen this issue?
