Why is there no indicator that shows the system is searching (i.e. in the document status page) ?

In the screenshot shown below, when the receipts is clicked, it does not show like an icon moving (or an hourglass).  This is more concerning when the number of documents is 1,000 or more.  You won't know if the system is stuck or the click did not trigger.  Double clicking further delays the search result.
