pings/traceroutes with TSA as source IP's not working
Hi,
We are observing that we are unable to ping remote DSR diameter connections using source the TSA IP’s on the MP’s, also the IPFE’s.
e.g:
- Source TSA IP is 10.5.138.139, Destination IP is 10.5.138.152
- Ping and traceroute results from MP #6 where connection has landed and is in-service:
[admusr@mp-SJCLabDRA01-6 ~]$ ping -I 10.5.138.139 10.5.138.152 -c 5
--- 10.5.138.152 ping statistics ---
5 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 7466ms
However when the far end pings the TSA IP this is working.
Is this expected behavior?
