Create Fixed Asset with multiple units and assign each unit against an employee. But what is the uti

Hi Team,

The functionality to assign multiple units in the same asset number to different employees or locations is great, however if these units have separate TAG numbers or serial numbers, (in most cases it is) the functionality cannot be put to use right.

Can we know any other utility which is being served by this functionality ?
