UOM error

Hi Team,

We are using JDE 8.12. my UOM defined as below. Primary as EA and shipping as OT.

Also  conversions are defined as

What is the issue: Now when i am trying to place a sales order for 1 EA, system is giving error that Qty is not in multiple of shipping UOM. My question is that if i have defined 1OT =6EA, then is it not possible to create a sales order in 1EA??

Also i crossed checked it in JDE9.1. there i am not getting this error. Is there some new functionality in 9.1 or above.  Please help.
