12.2.0.1 database version support

need to clarify if someone can help around installation issues around  a new oracle 12.2.0.1 on-premises database:

if we install this prior to end-Nov 2020; we will be able to download all the patches from MOS and install them on the created database; so given there are no patches after Nov 2020; at least we will have the latest patches installed (problem for us is of course no further patch fixes will available later for this version)

however if we get delayed and deploy the new 12.2.0.1 database after Nov 2020  am I correct that consequently we will not be able to download any patches at all
