Item Inactivation - Oracle EBS r12.1.3

Hi All,

We have a requirement to inactivate items(making the inventory_item_status_code = 'Inactive' in MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B table) through database. Could you please tell us which is the best way to achieve this?
