Period field size on Timecard Upload Screen

Does anyone know how to populate the Period field in he OTL SS Upload Screen?  I have it on one instance (test) but for some reason the two pages are different between patches. I need to correct this on PROD which would have the most recent 12.1.3 patch.  RUP 12.  I do not see where this is controlled.  Preferences maybe?  First screen shot is Test.  Second is PROD.
