Suggest purchase order from Auto-Fulfillment

The company sells high-value drugs with short shelf life. They do not keep stock of these items but buy them when there is a customer sales order. So at Sales Order Entry these items are never available. In their old JD Edwards release 8.12 they used they used sales backorders and the Purchase Order Generator / Reorder Sales. The drawback is that the sales lines are committed and backordered on the first-com-first-serve principle and not by priority. This is addressed by the Scoring functionality in Fulfillment Management.

In the new 9.2. Release they use Fulfillment, which does not allow backorders. They want to score the unavailable buy-to-order SO lines like all others. The scoring rule is set so that the line should be released from fulfillment when Requested Date minus Lead Time for ordering the item is equal to Today's Date.
