Hi we have ran the root.sh in wrong order and now host 3 is running instances 4 and host 4 is running instances 3. We have deleted node 3 and 4 added back again jut to find there is no change to the instance configuration! When we logged a SR with Oracle and below is what they have to say. Is there a way to get this corrected with out redoing the whole cluster! They say there is a enhancement request, but that will take sometime!

We are running 12c and Oracle Linux 7 (64)

This normally happens due to the wrong order in which root.sh script is executed. Unfortunately ,once you are in this situation you cannot change the ASM instance numbers without reconfiguring the entire cluster. Just removing and adding the nodes back is not going to help.

Howdy, Stranger!
