PSHUP - Negative Manual Check

When creating manual checks via pshup, Peoplebooks states the amount for Total Gross and Net pay should be a non-zero amount.

When I tried to create with negatives, I received the following error:

Is this working as designed?  There are times when we need these amounts to be negative.  Our work-around was to load as positive amounts and staff members went in to enter a negative sign for each of them, which it allowed without issue.
