Item has expiration date on G BPA, but still appears in iProcurement that has ECC role UMX|ICX_ECC_A

We have G BPA that has items that are visible in iProcurment and this iProcurement responsibility has ECC role UMX|ICX_ECC_ACCESS_ROLE.
One item has an expiration date on G BPA but this item is still visible in the iProcurement responsibility that has ECC role UMX|ICX_ECC_ACCESS_ROLE.
I found this note: GBPA Line Expiration Date Not Working For Endeca iProcurement In Local Catalog (Doc ID 2013469.1), but this is for 12.1.3. We are in 12.2.7, and I did not find anything regarding this issue for 12.2.
Does anyone know if there is a similar patch for 12.2?
