Running Wave based on Dock Appointments

Hi All,

We are in the process of implementing WMS 12.1.3 on premise. I had a question around being able to run the wave based on dock schedule appointments.

The wave it seems picks up orders only which have deliveries and trips created. Just wanted to confirm if creating delivery and trip beforehand is mandatory if i want to run the wave based on dock schedule appointments? I would like to auto create deliveries as part of running the wave and also pick up orders which have dock appointment scheduled

Any help would be great.
