F4072, F40721 Expired records

We have about 10 millions records total in F4072 and about 7 millions records are expired and only about less than 3 millions are active

Can we delete / purge F4072 and F40721 expired records?

There are some for Price change jobs take long time to process and would like to know if it purge these expired record will improve UBE performance.
