Change ROU and Payment Schedule for the finalized lease contract

I have searched the discussion regarding the updating on the finalized lease schedule. The answers were there is no way to change any payment schedule or ROU once the lease is finalized but those discussions were a few ago.
Did Oracle have any update patch to change this function? Currently, we have one lease will be extended 2 more years and would like to change the contract termination date as well as adding the payment schedule for next 2 years. Is this possible to do amend or we have to create the new lease for this renewal?
