Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. How to delete non-existing backups from catalog

I have an Oracle 12.2 database in archivelogmode. Catalog is from controlfile.

Now a disk containing backups was removed and is not available anymore. I marked the backups as unavailable in the catalog.

But how can I clear my catalog and get rid of these backups which in the end do not exist anymore.

Crosscheck does not work.
