Update Legal Entity Address

What are the impacts of updating a legal entity address.

The issue is that during implementations, the same address has been created over and over and now users want a clean up of the addresses. I see that it is possible to go to the Legal Entity and Update the address but not sure if there are any downstream effects within the standard application for this.
