Is it manadatory to close the Purchasing period before the inventory period During the Month End ?

Hello ,

Our Current business process has  Company1  Procurement waiting for company-2  Finance to close the Purchasing period before they start the inventory close process. It is possible that there are no dependencies on the inventory close process outside of all required inventory transactions to be completed. Would like this to be confirmed.
