Can ECB filter From: header using User Entry

Hello,

I have a portability between two providers, so I am having a situation that users are presenting themself with wrong DDI, that doesn't belong to new provider. Number they send in From: belongs to the old provider. So, an idea is to check if the number is From: belongs to User Entry and if not manipulate From and put a correct number (one generic number for all). Is that possible?
