Error: Unable to Approve. Couldn't save a worklist entry for %EmployeeID% in the absence request ap

Can someone kindly help with the below error  HCM9.2

Step 1 :  The employee applies for leave in "Absence Request" page.

Step 2:The approver is trying to approve the leave by clicking on the "Approve" button(collaborative email) . The approver gets the below email with error as -

Error: Unable to Approve. Couldn't save a worklist entry for %EmployeeID%  in the absence request approval email

Any idea how to check this worklist error,
