MES scale integration

For MES, How do I get a scale device that is selected during dispensing to communicate to the physical scale? We are setting up our initial MES instance and none of the documentation I have read covers this part. The scale is on our network, but I can't find anywhere to put the IP address for this device. The device can be selected during dispensing, but can not connect when using Read Measure.
