How does a Full package Deployment differ from Installing client package?

What is the difference between a Full package Deployment and Installing client package?

To my understanding, the package deployment is done after building a package and the R98825D is checked for the deployment status.

and Installing client package is done by accessing the installmanager.exe and selecting the desired package and then a series of steps and this is same as a FAT client installation.

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong and also are these two terms (package Deployment and Installing client package) referring to the same activity or used interchangeably.

Any proper explanation to clarify this will be helpful.
