Authenticating to LDAP without KTPASS or Password Filter
I am working on trying to set up Oracle DB user validation to validate against LDAP. I have read of two approaches, but both of them (Kerberos and password-based) seem to require administrative access to the authentication server to either alter the service account and generate a keytab file or to install a password filter on the Active Directory server. The AD server administrators are unwilling to make those changes for me, primarily for bureaucratic reasons, but that is what it is.
