Next/Last status moved back

I've got an order where the next and last status appear to have been moved back.

The order was entered at 520/525, a sales acknowledgement was printed and the statuses were moved to 525/540.  In the F42199, I see where a scheduler version of R42950 was run and now the status is back at 520/525.  Any idea what could cause this?
