Splitting Single LE into Multiple LE

Hi,

Hope every one stay home and safe.

Our client running Oracle EBS 12.2.5 with OFI GST installed.

Enterprise structure configured like below:

1. Single Legal Entity, Ledger & Operating Unit

2. COA with 9 segments such as (Company-Business Unit--Cost centre-Location-Account)

3. COA (Segment2) - Business Unit having 5 business

Now the client business needs to split into 3 Legal entities like below:

1. 3 Legal Entities , 3 ledgers & 3 Operating units model

Client wants to have Business unit segment as Balancing segment (BSV). Out of 5 business unit, needs to grouping into 3 companies.

Example:

BU 1  - company 1 (70% of the total business)

BU 2 - company 2

BU 3 to BU 5    - company 3

My suggestions:

1. Create 2 additional LE, Ledger and Operating unit
