SVM 3rd Mirror on the same physical disk

hello folks,

i am running a Solaris 10 on  V490 server where a mirrored SVM  metadevice  have  both the submirrors  are on "Needs maintenance" status  as  well as the  physical slices  are   on  NOT   "Okay"  state.  see below.

this happened to be the root filesystem.   the server is booted  and operating as normal.

i am hesitant  to  detatach and reattach any of the submirror since both are not in full 100% healthy  hence  the status reported  "Needs maintenance".

my question is,  can i craeate and attached a  third  submirror  that is from the same disk where one of the submirror lives?

the hope is to have the third  submirror to sync and to land  in  "Okay"  state. then after that i can detach and attach the submirrors  that is on "Needs maintenance" state.
