Importing from fixed width bank file using Groovy/Orchestration

We are currently on JDE Tools Release 9.2.4.2 , JDE application 9.2

Has anyone imported data from a fixed width text file using custom groovy service request into a database table?

Or know of another way using Orchestrator Studio to import a fixed width flat file?

The bank file we are importing has header,detail and trailer records that we need to import into a JDE 'z' file table.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
