ASM Instance password file

I need to create a user that connects through sqlplus to ASM instance to gather log info. I have 11.2.0.4 2 node primary and 2 node dataguard. When I create the password file on 1st node of primary side, I just copy that to 2nd node of primary side right? I do not copy that password file to dataguard cluster side correct? I would create a new password file on dataguard 1st node and copy that to dataguard 2nd node?

Am I correct in what I am thinking since the ASM instance on primary is seperate from ASM instance on dataguard side.
