Archive HFM Data

Hi Experts

Could you please suggest some options or best practices to archive HFM application data.We are on HFM 11.1.2.4.202.Requirement is to archive / move historical data from HFM application and retain only the last 3 years data in the live application.

What are the best practices to accomplish this and what are the different aspects that requires impact analysis and to be considered.
