Can we use Workday Calendar Shift times while calculating the Schedule Ship Date

We have a new requirement wherein if an order is booked after the cutoff time(ex 04:30 PM) on a particular day, the order should be scheduled (Schedule Ship Date) for the next working day. We have tried to achieve this by adding Shift times (12:00 - 16:30) on the workday calendar but looks like the scheduling does not consider the shift times. It considers the the days off on the calendar but not shift end times. Did anyone achieve a solution for this kind of requirement. Any pointers would be helpful.
