Deprecation of Middleware as a Service in Enterprise Manager

Hello Everyone,

This is to announce that we are deprecating Middleware as a Service in Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.

This applies to Enterprise Manager Base Platform and Enterprise Manager for Fusion Middleware.

What is being deprecated

Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control provides Middleware as a Service (MWaaS), which provides automation of the lifecycle of a middleware and allowing users to request WebLogic services through Self Service portal. MWaaS includes WebLogic as a Service (WLaaS), SOA as a Service (SOAaas) and OSB as a Service (OSBaaS) service types.

Impact

Beginning with the next major release of Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control (expected to be 13.5), the Middleware as a Service feature will be removed from Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.
