Deprecation of Provisioning for JRF-enabled WebLogic domains in Enterprise Manager

Hello Everyone,

This is to announce that we are deprecating provisioning for WebLogic Server (WLS) 12.2.1.4 and 12.2.1.3 with JRF (Java Resource File) enabled domains in Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.

(Reference KM Doc 2690340.1)

This applies to Enterprise Manager Base Platform and Enterprise Manager for Fusion Middleware.

What is being deprecated

Middleware provisioning feature that remotely installs Oracle homes and configures WebLogic Servers with JRF enabled domains, using automated deployment procedures.

Note: This deprecation applies only to WLS domains with JRF enabled, either Full and Restricted. Customers can continue to provision WLS 12.2.1.4 and 12.2.1.3 with plain domains.

Impact

Beginning with the next major release of Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control (expected to be 13.5), feature of Provisioning for WebLogic Server (WLS) 12.2.1.4 and 12.2.1.3 with JRF (Java Resource File) enabled domains will be removed from Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.

Howdy, Stranger!
