Can Department level security be used in Payroll for North America to restrict access to paylines an

We recently added another Company to our PeopleSoft HR application.  Row level security works great in job data but in the case of an employee having multiple jobs, one in each company all paylines and paycheques are visible to the payroll administrator.  Is Is there a way to restrict the payroll information at either the company level or department level?
